Antique Rare French Hand Carved Black Forest Wall Thermometer Victorian 19thC. A beautiful and rare hand carved wooden wall thermometer. This is a black forest thermometer and it has a lovely organic carved design. It displays in Centigrade, which is the old term for Celsius and has a lovely brass display plate. It can be hung on the wall with the two hooks on the top of the shelf. Width: about 7 inch / 18 cm. Height: about 12 1/4 inch / 31 cm. Good antique condition, some minimal surface wear/patina.
