Antique 18thC French Mennecy Porcelain Polychrome Floral Plate Porzellan Teller

A rare plate made by Mennecy in the 18th century. It is made of soft paste porcelain which is so much more stunning than hard paste is. The enamels just seem to jump off the plate. The piece is hand painted with a nice large floral arrangement in the center and four smaller flowers along the rim. Nice basket weave design to the paste on the rim and a brownish trim to the edge.

The plate is not marked underneath but that is not unusual. It is in great condition with some wear from use but it displays superbly!
