We currently have another similar rare map by Buchon's 1825 atlas of "New York", so please have a look! Fonderie Et Imprimerie De J.

Carez', as appears printed lower right in the outer margin area just beneath the border line Translates: Foundry and Printing by J. Other info from publication:'A Paris, A la librairie de J. Carez, Editeur, Rue Haute feuille, No. Chez Verdiere, Quai des Augustins, No.

Chez Bossange, pere, Rue de Richelieu, No. The Map is on beautiful medium-heavy weight cream-colored wove paper stock with deckled edges, and is in Excellent Rare+ condition for its antique 190+ year old age with no color fade. The sheet size with margins is 21-3/16" x 26-3/4".

Only a few very tiny outer margin edge tears (less than 1/8) which are completely negligible since the outer margins can easily be matted & framed out and aren't even worth mentioning. The center fold is completely intact with no tears.

Very light & small faint foxing specks here & there on the sheet, and only a few brown spots here & there on the sheet as well. Normal toning of the stock from age and a little more so around the outer margin edges. Slight small crescent-creasing here & there on the sheet, as well as a few other light creases here & there. Slight outer margin edge wear with some dents & dings here & there-also negligible.

This beautiful antique early 19th C. Map would make a wonderful addition to any cartography or art collection, and has never been framed which is always more desirable to collectors since it has never been exposed to older non-archival materials, matburn or lightfade. 9:30-5:30 EST SUMMER HOURS: Tues-Fri, 9:30-4, Sats.
